Troy Eckard - President
Over the past 23 years, Troy has managed over $200,000,000.00 in construction projects. Over 80% of these were delivered using the design build format. Previous to his career in construction, Troy spent 6 years working in the engineering department of a nuclear powered submarine for the United States Navy. In 1989 he accepted a job as project manager for Estate Resorts Hotel Development Co., in Carmel Valley, CA and then became the senior estimator for Brown and Root Service Corporation at Ft Ord JOC in 1989. In 1997 Troy was hired by Mill Construction Company in Salinas, CA and was made Vice President of the company. In 2008, Troy Eckard started Eckard Commercial Construction, Inc. Troy is responsible for the overall contracting, estimating and management of Eckard Commercial Construction, Inc. He has estimated and managed projects ranging from minor commercial and retail tenant improvements to major hotel renovations, school facilities, churches and construction of new food processing and manufacturing plants. Because Troy leads with a dedication to hard work, honesty and integrity, he has created a loyal team and a company capable of enduring in a competitive and cyclical industry.
Claire Eckard - Business Manager
Claire has over 10 years experience in many areas of administration. She co-founded Eckard Commercial Construction, Inc. and is an integral part of the management team. Claire is responsible for business development, human resources, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Aerika Leeds - Receptionist/Administrative Assistant
Aerika joined our team in June of 2010. She is capable of assisting all of our team members in whatever capacity they may need including human resources, payroll, and project administration. Aerika's versatility makes her invaluable to our company.
Stacy Greene - Project Manager
Stacy began her employment with Eckard Commercial Construction, Inc. in October of 2011. Her education and training include a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Azusa Pacific University as well as NAVFAC QA/QC Certification, 30 hour OSHA Certification, CPR/First Aid Certification and Suretrak Certification. She has 12 plus years of Project Management experience in commercial and residential construction during which time she completed over 29 million in projects. 25 million of those were government. The skills and qualifications she brings with her make her a well rounded member of our Project Management team. She is both willing and capable of taking on any new challenge asked of her.
Randy Tucker - Superintendent/Site Safety and Health Officer
Randy has been with Eckard Commercial Construction, Inc. since day one. He has over 40 years experience in a broad range of technical, construction and agricultural fields. As a supervisor, Randy has been and is an integral part of our team. Coordinating field work, developing and implementing safety programs on job sites and enforcing OSHA compliance are all in a day's work.
Jess Turrell - Foreman
Jess has been with Eckard Commercial Construction, Inc. since May 2010. He brings to the table 30 years of experience in the construction industry. He has proven his ability to lead by example, and runs every project in a service oriented manner. His forward thinking, organization, and leadership qualities are an asset to our company.
Carlos Soto - Foreman/Carpenter
Carlos has over 10 years of industry experience. He has been the lead carpenter on numerous wood-framed building projects and is a capable team leader. He has worked for Eckard Commercial Construction, Inc. since 2009 and has become an integral part of our success and an essential part of our team.
Justin Wilkerson - Operator
Justin became a part of our team in August 2013. His training includes Safety, Aerial Lift Operation, Scissor Lift Operation, Fork Lift Operation and Fall Protection. Justin in addition to running our trucking operations also operates a variety of grading equipment, erection equipment and trucks to perform various tasks in a safe and effective manner.
Carlos 'Charlie' Figueroa – Concrete Foreman
Charlie has been with us since April 2011. Charlie’s years of experience and vast understanding of the trade has made him a valuable asset to our company. Charlie oversees the concrete crew as well as manages the grading crew and aides in all aspects of construction. His training includes Safety, Fall Protection and Powered Industrial Truck.
Henry Neahr – Foreman
Hank joined our team in April of 2013. His work ethic and interpersonal skills reflect in his ability to lead. His career as Safety Officer in construction activities for YPG molded him into the type of safety oriented leader that our company holds in high regard. His experiences in the industry along with his focus on safety and quality are what make him an excellent foreman.
Miguel ‘Mikey’ Contreras – Concrete Foreman
Miguel began working with us in May 2010. He is a skilled worker and is a Certified Powered Industrial Truck Operator. His ability to plan, communicate and build strong relationships ensures our projects continue smoothly and we maintain our commitment to provide a safe efficient work environment. Mikey works primarily with the grading and concrete divisions to oversee crews and manage construction activities.
Scott White – Steel Erection Foreman
Scott came to us in May of 2015 with a strong background in structural steel, metal buildings. He has been in the industry for 24 years. He is an excellent leader and provides outstanding support to co-workers and the management staff. He has an Installer Certificate from NCI Group, Inc., as well as certifications in Forklift, Aerial and Scissor Lift Safety, OSHA 30, Fall Protection, Scaffold Safety and CPR.
Victor Anguiano – Foreman
In September of 2010, Victor was brought on to our team as a crew member. He has proven that he shares our company values of providing quality products and services to our customers while staying committed to the health and safety of everyone. Victor oversees various construction crews and activities from framing, interior improvements, finish carpentry, racking erection, metal building erection, specialty trim and door hardware as well as general maintenance.
Kyle Wahl – Project Manager
Kyle joined Eckard Commercial Construction in January of 2016. He started his career with us working in the field as a crew member primarily working on our steel erection crew. Kyle quickly moved to management and is now a full time Project Manager, with a focus on creating our shop drawings and overseeing the work load in the fabrication shop. Kyle embraces challenges with vision and a positive attitude.
Mitchell Eckard – Operations Manager
Mitchell grew up alongside Eckard Commercial Construction. He enjoyed spending summers during high school assisting in many aspects of the business as well as working for another local contractor. Mitchell felt the desire to serve his country so after high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army. After five years of service, Mitchell returned to us and now keeps our operational side flowing smoothly utilizing the skills he acquired. Mitchell’s ability to seamlessly transition from one task to the next makes him flexible and effective at assisting in other areas within the company such as the Project Management and Estimating Departments.
